This is the painting everyone goes to when they enter my studio. It is priced at $100,000 because I don't really want to sell it. It is one of three paintings I consider my best. In "In The Blaze" is like the question if a tree falls in the woods will it make a sound? This tree can be symbolic of a person feeling alienated and isolated from others, almost seen as frosty. The tree can't get it's roots in the ground for the Earth is too cold or hard. The Light on the horizon represents the Divine. The Light gives the tree it's strength and substance.
Stefan lives in Monroe, NC. He has an English and Art Degree. He was dubbed the American Van Gogh by vangoghgallery.com. He created the impressionistic styles of Squiggelism that has been described as a new branch of post impressionism and Neo-Gogh. His mission is to give the world more Light through his paintings.
