I have created over a thousand paintings. This is my favorite. I found a copper stretched canvas at an antique mall. I have never seen one before or since. I used gold paint to create the tree. This is a one of a kind for me. Being my favorite and only one I'll create again with that kind of treated copper metal is my justification for the price. And truthfully, if a collector sought to purchase it at 20k it would be a very hard decision for me. It is the one painting I have kept for myself because of its uniqueness and beauty. In the near future, I will experiment with copper sheets to see if I can re-create the background effect of the original and create a new one. The next one will be several times bigger.
