The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. First squiggle work I did for squiggleism. I identified with that tree as being of joy for discovering who you are and what you're suppose to do. The sun is the Divien. The three cypress trees on the hill represent the trinity. I did this tree at Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a little co-op gallery of artists. This was while I was recovering from my coma/near fatal car accident. I could no longer read and write as I had which was my true love. Then, I discovered I could focus and concentrate doing art. I joined CFS and several days a week used pastels and moved to prismacolor. After I did The Glory Tree, I suddenly was getting compliments on the work. I looked at that tree and it struck me, that tree was like celebrating the realization it had discovered its true-self and purpose of life.
